Course Description

This course contains the following lessons:

Topic 1: Ergonomics & Human Factors
In this lesson, you’ll learn about ergonomics, its different categories and future technologies. You’ll also learn how to safely use your mobile device, how to recognise environmental risk factors, the importance of taking regular breaks and how to set up an ergonomic workstation.

Topic 2: Technology, the Law and You Part 1
This lesson teaches you about the legalities of drones and RFID devices relating to tracking, monitoring and privacy, as well as privacy relating to marketing. You’ll discover the “how” and “why” of the dark web, recognise financial scams and how to avoid them, and understand various software licensing, subscriptions and the ethics of artificial intelligence. 

Topic 3: Technology, the Law and You Part 2
Expand on your knowledge of tech and the law and learn the legalities of recording conversations, torrenting, streaming, video and information sharing and privacy. You’ll discover what plagiarism, defamation and intellectual property are and how they affect you and you’ll learn how to avoid spam.
