Course Description

This Level 2 Experimenting lesson focuses on how educators can use digital resources to keep their own subject/industry knowledge current and to design more authentic learning experiences. You will explore how to identify your professional development needs, evaluate online courses, webinars, TED Talks, podcasts and digital training materials, and avoid wasting time on low impact PD.

The lesson then shifts to investigating specialist software in your industry, including student/education versions and vendor provided resources, so you can introduce tools that mirror contemporary workplace practice and expectations.
