Course Description

This course explores how to align your teaching with current industry practice through targeted professional development and the use of common workplace digital tools. You’ll learn how to plan and track your own CPD using online courses, webinars, conferences, peer groups and digital portfolios, and how to meet the basic tech requirements for engaging effectively in online PD.

You’ll then examine digital employability skills and common tools used across industries—such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, collaboration platforms and basic coding—and how to integrate them into learning activities, assignments and assessments. Case studies and practical activities help you connect subject content, industry expectations and learners’ digital capability.
