Course Description

This course extends your digital planning skills from Level 1 into more intentional, experiment-focused practice. You’ll explore how to choose and adapt applications, games and online resources to match learning goals, audience needs and accessibility requirements. You’ll unpack what makes a resource genuinely interactive and gamified (beyond just adding points), and learn how to work with standards such as SCORM, xAPI and HTML5 so your content plays nicely with your LMS.

You’ll also examine copyright, Creative Commons and terms of use in more depth, including practical strategies for sourcing and licensing media safely. Finally, you’ll look at how digital communities of practice and communication channels (from Teams and Slack to emojis and forums) can support collaboration with colleagues and learners, and how to choose the right channel and tone for different purposes.
Note: Access is granted for 3 months from the date of enrolment.
