The Future of VET Data: DataBuilder 2.0 and VET Data Streamlining.

Reliable, accessible and timely data is becoming increasingly important to how RTOs understand their performance, meet reporting obligations and make informed decisions.

This free VETQI webinar will bring together representatives from NCVER and the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations to explore two significant developments in the collection, reporting and use of national VET data.

Janine Xavier, MyNCVER Product Manager at the National Centre for Vocational Education Research, will provide a detailed demonstration of the new DataBuilder 2.0.

Janine will show participants how DataBuilder can be used to explore NCVER data, create customised tables, apply filters and generate insights relevant to their organisations and the broader VET sector.

Dan Smee, VDS Change Lead within the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, will provide an update on the VET Data Streamlining Program.

Dan will explain the changes being introduced to national VET data reporting, including the new VET Information Standard, reporting processes and transition considerations for Registered Training Organisations.

The webinar will help to understand:
- how to find, explore and use national VET data more effectively
- the functionality and practical applications of DataBuilder 2.0
- what is changing through the VET Data Streamlining Program
- how national reporting arrangements will change for RTOs
- what training providers should be considering as they prepare for transition
- where providers can access further information, guidance and support.

The session will conclude with a facilitated discussion and an opportunity for participants to submit questions to presenters.
