Course Description

In this Level 3 Adopting lesson, you will explore how technology is transforming assessment practice and how generative AI is accelerating that change. You'll examine how digital tools enable embedded, adaptive and accessible assessment, and how the five pillars of authentic assessment can guide your redesign.

You'll then unpack the impact of generative AI on assessment integrity and explore practical strategies for working with AI rather than against it—including staged, process-oriented assessment that values learning over final products. Finally, you'll use generative AI to rapidly build rubrics, generate feedback and streamline grading so you can focus on what matters most: supporting learner growth.
