Course Description

This course explores how to use digital technologies across the full assessment cycle: task design, delivery, data analysis and feedback. You’ll unpack what “digital assessment” really means (far more than online quizzes), including diverse evidence types such as documents, multimedia, e portfolios and interactive tasks.

You’ll examine the benefits and pitfalls of digital assessment for both educators and learners, explore a wide range of online question types, and see how to use LMS dashboards and reports to track progress and identify where intervention is needed. The course also covers practical feedback strategies using common tools (Word, PowerPoint, LMS features) as well as video, audio, collaborative platforms and emerging AI driven feedback tools.
Note: Access is granted for 3 months from the date of enrolment.
