The 2025 Outcome Standards are quite specific in terms of requiring RTOs to comply with ‘other’ legislation, and to ensure inclusive practices. This provides greater recognition of the Disability Standards for Education 2005 and accessibility in education, and area that is all too often misunderstood.

An RTO’s understanding of this legislation and its implementation directly impacts learner participation, support needs, and outcomes. This session provides practical guidance for designing and reviewing learning and assessment resources that are more accessible, inclusive, and usable, with a focus on WCAG-aligned eLearning and realistic adjustments that RTOs can implement without blowing out budgets.

  • WCAG-aligned content design for eLearning (documents, slides, video, and LMS pages)
